no, no, NOT

So just this past week my almost on year old has been being sassy. She just out of the blue one day talked back to me. She has been talking for a little while, and can say pretty much anything you tell her to. She is quick with words and this scares me. Which reminds me that we all have to watch what we say around her now. Pretty sure the other day I heard S@&#( the S word) but not for sure! Could have been shirt to, hard to tell at this age. Anyway...................

I asked her to stop throwing the picture frames on the floor with a, "No, Sophia" and then in a second she talked back to me in this little sassy tone while shaking her head, "Nnnot" the first time she did it my mouth dropped to the floor. First, where did she learn, "not" and second she is way to young to be starting the sassy stuff. As I sat there after that she kept telling me no, then she continued to scold the dog saying her name and telling her no also. At this point I am laughing covering my face so she doesn't think it's funny. Oh, and of course Eric got to hear it that night and he thought it was hilarious. Only because she only does it to me! Great a preview of the teenage years at 11 months and 3wks! Can't wait, Lord help me!
