So it's been some time I guess since I wrote about the" Sophi peanut". She is constantly trying to copy what you say, which is amazing for 11.5 months. Which is also amazing to her parents that in two short weeks our little Sophia will be one year old. Can anyone tell me where the time has gone!
So back to the talking........ She knows what keys are, and says the word which is a constant battle every day when we are leaving or getting out of the car. She says keys and we have a little tug of war over them so I can get into the house. This usually ends up with her being mad at me for not letting her play with them. But she forgets fast.
She also says the dog's name, which is Haley. It sounds more like hadley but she definitely knows her puppy which still comes out too. Haley comes in her room int the morning and she gets so excited, she is also feeding the dog constantly and thinks this is hilarious. The other night she threw her plate of spaghetti at Haley. Of course the dog didn't mind but it was all over Haley. No need for a vacuum cleaner at this house or dog does all the work under the high chair!
Some other words: shoes, oh darn, ish(Ab thought you would like that one!) of course mama and papa/dada. Grandma and Grandpa, me- me which is Eric's sister Megan. Book and doll of course Faith Anne is still a huge part of Sophi's day 's. Thank goodness she washes well! The best of all is how excited she gets over everything especially toy isles or doll's, kitchen sets you name it everything is a deep breath of gasp and ooooohhhh. It's just too funny. She will give anything a try if you tell her, she even said butt the other day! Thanks to mom changing her butt she copied that one. All in all I think we will have a chatter box on our hands. She is quite comical all of the time.
She is so close to walking but just hasn't been brave enough to step away. She stands on her own and runs behind her walker but no walking on her own. She also has a cozy coupe car which she loves to go in circles in and backwards. She hasn't figured out how to go forward.
Of course she is still very tall, looks more like two than one. All 2t clothes and some 3t. Her favorite time of the day is bath time, that's where we have started to learn numbers she doesn't no what they mean of course but she will copy what you say. We only go to three when we rinse her hair. Oh so many things hope I'm not boring you all but I like to write it all out so I can remember someday to! She is just growing way to fast, I'm having a hard time with this first birthday stuff. I get emotional thinking about singing happy birthday to her! It's just so amazing to bring a little one into the world and survive all the ups and downs of the first year getting to know this little person is amazing. She is truly one of a kind and a little tiny bit of miss attitude already!
